    Default NE Cooking Question

    Evening fellow food lovers.

My best mate from the NE is coming for a stay here not long from now and though I'd like him to taste and sample some of our local food I'd also like to surprise him by cooking something traditional NE-ish. But I've never really tried cooking your way before so what would you reckon I should try ? It has to be something where I can get the main ingredients here in DK, too of course.

Am thinking something with lovely, thick gravy but what ? Any suggestion is welcome. Cheers.

Just overcook any old tinned food and give him a horrible lager. (Carlsberg for example) he'll think he's at home.
