Default Remotely controlling my ma's PC??

    techies please help..

Ive just moved to OZ and set up my ma with a laptop with skype and stuff on so I can contact her..now she has no idea about using it and even though I left detailed lists of what to do, she's done something to it.

Is it possible to control remotely her laptop through skype? Someone mentioned it to me ages ago but cant find anything about it?

Can anyone help on what I can do?

    cheers

I'd go for this too, very useful in fixing the parents computer

I think you can do it via MSN as well.

The trouble is, if his ma cannot sort out skype can she install and configure logmein?

What you will need to do is to get your ma to install the software, login as you and then select add computer. You will then be able to access it from any web enabled pc. Hope it works for you.

But I would suggest an easier route...just buy some skype out credit and call her on the regular home phone at 1p or so a minute.

Teamviewer is by far the best.
Just send her this link http://www.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewerQS.exeand ask her to tell you the password and you can log in.
All you need to do is install the Client.
    Free anarl.
