Default For a team who are toothless up front....

13 attempts ON target suggests otherwise. There was also a stat bandied about earlier today saying we were second only to Man U on chances created per game.

Do we really need an out and out goalscorer......i thought we ran them ragged with our movement and passing tonight.

Tin hat on here but i think a fully fit and committed Gyan would slot seamlessly into the way we set ourselves up tonight.

How many of those chances per game have been converted?

that is why we need and out and out goalscorer

Gyan is a very good striker who will score when there's chances made, his stats show that

But he seems to be enjoying his money and completle lack of challenge in the UAE, and I'm sure his Sheikh owners are enjoying having him too much to give him back even were that an option.

But I don't think we'll need a super striker for us to be comfortably mid table. Just someone who hangs around in the right areas. That's all we've missed really, for all our limitations elsewhere.

Unless we can pick up a striker without paying above the odds in January, I would almost prefer us to wait until the close season and get someone the management team are really sure is "their man". There are only 7 teams in the league who have scored more goals than us, and only 6 who have let in fewer.

I think a real out n out striker would improve these stats even further mate, into created/scored. personally I don't want Gyan back after what's gone on but I have complete faith I'm MoN, so whatever route he decides we should back.

90% of those games were with Bruce in charge and we are playing a different style now. The movement of Bendtner, Rico and Sess was fantastic tonight and as i said we had 13 attempts on target. If we are to bring in another forward i would hope it's someone who's mobile and pacy who can also link up the play. Just a suggestion but how about going back to Arsenal for Chamakh.
