    Default Porridge

Right, now that i am once again an athlete in training, I'm keen to explore the benefits of adding porridge into my diet as that's all i hear people banging on about....

However, i don't like milk and the thought of a bowl of porridge turns my stomach....it's the texture i think!

Is there anything i can do or does my morning pre-run fuel have to continue to be a pot noodle?

    Enlighten me SMB?

    Hoy some honey in it.

Somebody will probably be along any second now to say that honey is the devil, but it tastes good.

nope, honey is good. loads of benefits to it.

You can get ground porridge oats to put in with a protein shake, dunno about having them by themselves mine if you're not keen on the protein powder

i find a slice of toast and a muller rice is sufficient for me.

porridge is nice but for roughage knock yourself up a breakfast bar. oats, honey etc

You can mix them with water.

Had a bowl of porridge this morning myself. Sometimes add sugar if I'm feeling wild.
