    Missed opportunities.

This has probably been said before, but Gyan seems at his best when he is being instinctive. He flubs up when he has time to dwell on a chance.

Certainly the last few games his touch has been woeful and by the time he's manages to get it under control the chance has gone, he's also been a touch unlucky a couple of times. Let's hope he finds his feet sooner rather than later or we could end up in trouble at the wrong end of the table.

Gyan tends to score when he has no right to, making something out of nothing; but tends to miss the shots most strikers would bury.

Increasingly of the opinion that we should use him as Bergkamp style player and get a poacher or speedy person in front of him. His passing, viison and ability to score in difficult situations compuinded by his inabiluty to score bread and butter chances and get dragged to where the play is means he's more suited for it imo.

On the plus side we may see Connor play more now. Thought he was canny yesterday

But the late chance they squandered was very poor. If CW had just dropped off a bit Gyan could have easily cut the ball back to him to score. As it was he was almost level with both Gyan and the last man giving Gyan no other option but to shoot

Are we as a club able to have 13m tied up in a player thats no more than an impact player? And will he at this stage in his career be happy with that. The answer to both those questions seems to be emphatically No. Trade him in.
