iPad/Mac Owners
I was using the iPad last night and somehow managed to come across the new multi-touch gestures, not supposed to be available until iOS5 unless you jailbreak your iPad.
I did a search on the net and it turns out they get enabled when you install xcode on your mac and setup your iPad to be development device. Which I did a few days ago.
Now I can just swipe the screen from side to side to scroll though my open apps. Or pinch them to return to the homescreen.

If you were using Windows, you`d get your work done faster, then you could still get get drunk.

Because its more productive, or because you're not obliged to stroke it every 5 mins?

Ha ha you're taking the piss!
I've just had to make some changes to the network in the office, and unlike the Mac windows needed to be rebooted before it would connect to the network again

That's because the required reboot is a standard, bad mac, bad bad mac.

Gesture based control, it's a standard. But, there again, oh, it is purty isn't it ... mmm unibody goodness. And I only needed a, small, mortgage extension to get it too :)

What did you do Ned? You shouldn't need to reboot Win 7 for any network changes I can think of, other than perhaps changing the domain that it's in.

I had to reset the router to factor defaults, then setup the router again not to act as DHCP. When connecting windows would stick on 'identifying'. After a reboot it was ok.
We've got a windows vista machine and it did exactly the same.
