    Well of course, he was playing games but only because Bramble & Turner weren't up to speed or fit, now that at least Bramble is, he wouldn't have gotten much of a look in.

    he wa versatile which I why I was suprised to see him go, but I suspect it was a straight financial decision..much like steed


    he would have been on a daft contract thanks to keane (steed was the clubs highest earner) and he was in the last year..would he have been happy to renegotiate a lower dealer? I doubt it..we got a fair fee for him as we overpaid in the first place

    We won't regret it one bit. Only regret is spunking 8m + 3 years top earner wages for a very mediocre inconsistent player.

    A few ok games alongside better players and he's Maldini.
