    Default Sunderland's "Golden Generation"

Might be SEB but, for those who didn't see it, a little BBC Wear article on our youngsters who might be breaking into the first team this season.

Louis Laing, Adam Reed, Liam Bagnall, Liam Noble and Matthew Fletcher might have a chance too.

Matthew Fletcher is that Aussie striker we had in our academy, Adam Reed was in our first team squad quite often last season, Louis Laing is a very highly rated centre back, Bagnall is a young right back that might move ahead of Kay in the reserves this year.

The rest are First/Second year Academy lads. I was impressed by Michael Lamb last season as well. Not one that has been earmarked as a future star, but we could carve a decent centre half out of him if he applies himself and continues to improve.
