Default Getting over to the Lakes for under 10 quid

A bit of a long shot, but does anyone know if stagecoach still do the day tickets that are eligible on the newcastle-carlisle bus and the rest of cumbria? We don't really fancy driving, and I'm sure we did this a couple of years ago for about 9 quid.

Aye they do but only some of the 685 buses are Stagecoach, most are Arriva so you better check times first.
