    Default Blessing in disguise?

... for next game that is.

I certainly don't want any injuries to our squad, and of course that includes Anton as well - but we're up against Kevin Davies next and Anton ain't the most commanding presence in the air, to say the least.

I didn't see the game yesterday and so I didn't see Nedum play CB. Haven't seen him that much at CB before either but I'd like to think he's more equipped to take care of Davies than Anton is. Yes, no?

Nedum, was fucking awful at CH against West Ham in the cup. I also haven't seen yesterdays game

Mensah would/will be on him anyway

Would much prefer Ferdinand to play alongside him and keep Nedum at full back

Ned played well yesterday but he wasn't up against anything like Davies.

    Mensah was astoundingly good yesterday.

I'll be reasonably confident if those two play next week but we are really down to the bare bones on central defence. Another injury or suspension in the next month and Bruce may even have to play PDS!!!

Indeed the CH's looked good yesterday... but against a very weak attack. Too early perhaps to judge Nedum at CH?
