Default What is the pont of Frazer Campbell

I don't know; the only thing I can think of is that when Bruce keeps playing him it shows that Bruce has not got any idea about football.

To be fair to the lad he is a centre forward, unfair to be judged playing on the right wing

I think he is one of the worst players I have seen for us - possibly worse than Stokes. I despair when I see him on the team sheet. Bruce buying him and then picking him - out of position or not, says a lot about Bruce's judgement.
his assist against Arsenal? well the ball bounced off his leg and happened to go to Bent.
If he is 'one for the future' then loan him out for a season.

If he is no good playing out of the only position that he can play; then is really is a shyte footballer. Again, it shows that Bruce is clueless.

its strange as the lad, did look a decent prospect, albeit at championship level with hull.

he then went to spurs on loan, and was hardly seen, then onto ourselves, who iirc, not too many were upset at his signing and thought, he could be a useful player for the squad.

he was also a regular scorer for the england under 21s and looked sharp at that level

it now does not look that way but as has been said, how many times has he had a run in his preferred position?

it could be the that, he is just not up to prem level, but will turn out to be an outstanding championship player. there are plenty of those around

From what I've seen of him he is the latest in the 'Not quite good enought to be a centre-forward lets try him on the wing for a bit to see if he is any good there' type of players. Off the top of my head Stephen Elliott and Craig Russell are the sort of players I mean. He'll find his level (CCC?) and will have a decent career.

If Darren Bent had played on the wing and been a substitute for the majority of the season, then people would be saying the same thing about him.
