Default Energy supplier and good current deals

Any suggestions or tips on choosing the best energy supplier/best deal at the moment?

Normal house, two people living in it, regular usage, double glazed central heated house with electric cooker

Looking for gas and leccy, usually best deals are combined but prepared to go separate if that's the best deal.

Any hints about continuing to get the best deal and not letting the robbing bastards up their prices and confuse you with impenetrable tariffs?

Roger will need a good supplier anyway. The RTG database will be on overdrive the way this meltdown is going.

    This!

To be fair a few on here seem to dislike EDF, but there unit rates in this part of the country are probably better than the other 5 of the big 6, there fixed saver version 2 is a cracking deal.
