If you just go for the basic carcasses and the cheapest group of doors it shouldn't be too bad.

It won't be, by basic carcasses I mean just get hanging space in them, don't bother getting drawers - leave that for who you sell your house to, to add to.

And with the basic doors you will have a choice of probably 20 options, just avoid gloss as they are more expensive.
