Loan Deals

With us already having 3 players in on loan and Welbeck hopefully getting done today i am curious to know what is the limit for the players you can bring in on loan?

I have a feeling the limit is five but i'm not 100% certain on it

Domestically, including Welbeck, we've reached our limit. You're allowed either 2 season long loans or 2 until Jan and then another 2 in Jan. No limit on loan signings from abroad though.

You can only loan one player from any one PL club, so once we got Onuoha it ruled out any other loan deals from Man City.

Isn't it only 2 from overseaes??

Pompey last season had Vanden Borre, Yebda and Dindane and that's just from the top of my head, they may have had others.

I agree; certainly between clubs in the same division. I'm particularly annoyed by the Wellbeck move. We're about to kick off our fourth consecutive season in the top flight; what are we doing borrowing a manu youth? It's embarrassing; if we're not capable of standing on our own feet now, then what are we doing in the PL?
