Default Decent diesel garage needed - Any around?

As it says, need some work doing (think its fuel injectors), somewhere not too expensive but reliable. Cheers.

Ian and George at Station garage East Boldon are canny
Closer to you though is John Ford working out of Barmston motors who has been in the game for years--used to have that place near SOL before moving to under the Alex bridge. (one of them was called Darwin motors)

    Tell me about it!

Already paid £300 for two and think another one's gone (tho am not sure if the garage that did the original work is to be trusted or not)

Just paid for a new timing belt and alternator pulley as well!

yeah there not cheap (ford tdci is it?), did they have to be coded in to? not like the good old days where a trip to the scappy to buy a second hand injector then swap it over was the way to go!

megane dci - aye they need coding in but here's the story - the garage did one, gave us it back and then called me back to code it in a week later, two days later another one went, had that back two days now and getting the code "injector fault" so fearing the worst. I've been told that once go it usually ends up with them all going (or is that another con in the motor trade??)

Durham Motor Services in Beamish unstuck and reconditioned my injectors a couple of months ago. Did a great job and seemed reasonable on cost too.

tbf if you are keeping the car id replace them as a set, as the others will be worn.
