    can report it is now snowing quite heavily in Manchester, and also in Stoke, where they are painting the pitch-markings blue at the Britannia Stadium for the visit of Sunderland

    No Premiership game should ever be called off due to the pitch. More likely the surrounding roads stopping fans getting to the game.

    Good thing or a bad thing if it falls to the whether. We're in great form and I'd fancy us to get something, then again we are in a run of a lot of games in short space of time with injuries mounting up. I think I'd rather it goes ahead
