Have they always been as bad as people say these days or had it never changed?

I think every generation it's been the same.

Most teenagers are perfectly decent people and cause no bother. I think every generation it's been the same.

Two teenagers, 17 (garn on 25) and 13. Absolutely smashing kids and not a pick of bother (so far!)

And the young like to blame the old.

I'm in my mid 20s but still get hacky looks off old people. Plus I don't feel like I get treated as an equal in a shop. I.e. middle aged to pensioners get treated with outstanding customer service whereas I feel like I get a metaphorical kick in the groin and told to take whatever I bought and shove it.

I was a teenager during "the angry" years. Riots, high unemployment, little prospects, Tory goverment, bother in the Falklands. I can see why they've mellowed out, they have neen of that nowadays.
