Default Next season if we hold on to our stars

If we can keep our top players and strengthen the squad a bit more then next season could be dream land. I just have a really good feeling about it, I think we have the makings of a really top class outfit.

If we can get a few more wins this season and finish in the top 8 we will be a nice attraction for some of the better players looking for a new club this summer.

Totally agree. there's not going to be much money spent by the teams around us in the league. If Liverpool kep Kenny, we spend a bit, hold on to Sess, maybe sign Bendtner, and add a couple, I can seriously see us finishing sixth. We might not quite have the sixth best squad, but we have better than the 6th best manager. O'Neill has already shown he can get an incredible amount out of anyone. Can't wait for next season

Yesterday showed what is possible, IMO. We looked like a really class side. The commentator on ESPN (or was it Steve MacM) said it was the best performance he had seen all season from a side outside the top 4.

I guess the trick is to make it happen more frequently and then as a matter of course.

Last year we took in £79 million whislt spending about £110 million, this needs addressing. I very much doubt we can afford to buy unless we sell

Have we learned nothing from the likes if Leeds, Portsmouth and Rangers ffs

If the season had restarted at the point MON took over, we'd be sitting comfortable in 3rd right now, 3 points behind City! (If my maths is correct)
