    Default Apocalypse Now

    Just watched the new Blu-ray version. Absolutely stunning piece of cinema.
    Fantastic cinematography. Great story and some fantastic cameo's(duvall and hopper).
    If you don't like it ,then your obviously female.

    Didnt manage to get to the pics this week or the last to see it (its been on remastered on a Tues night at Boldon) and a bit gutted, never seen it. Might have to rent it out

    I can remember seeing it at the pictures pre multiplex when it was first released and to be honest it made me feel very uneasy and slightly unwell.

    No wonder Martin Sheen had an heart attack during the making of it.

    If the Tories had won the 1964 general election we would have been involved in the Vietnam War. Thank god 'arry and his white heat of technology won instead.

    That scene with "The End" is one of the greatest moments in Movie history IMHO

    Its my favourite film of all time! Didn't know it was out on Blu-ray! Cheers, I'll buy it on Monday.

    Is it the original or Redux?

    Both on the same disc plus another disc with extras on including Hearts Of Darkness, two booklets and some great postcard size pics.. Got it for £15 through quidco on Tesco.com

    i went to that showing, it was awesome on the big screen, i wish they showed classics at the cinema more often.
