Erm... Man City are better than us. We are 6/1 to win. Why are you surprised by his prediction?

Predicting a champions league team to beat a mid table team shock horror

Predicting a defeat for Sunderland away (won 3 times away this season) against Man City (lost twice at home), when form shows that over the last 8 games only Blackpool were worse than us. It is madness I tell you.

it's not his prediction, which is unimaginatively & depressingly logical- but his complete dismissal of Sunderland as an entity worth commenting on.

We are nailed on favourites. His prediction against us is an utter outrage!

"Sunderland have not won for two months and they are on such a bad run that I have to go for a Manchester City victory here.

City have lost two right-backs in Micah Richards and Jerome Boateng in the last few days, but that just means Pablo Zabaleta will slot back in. The important thing for manager Roberto Mancini is for his side to rediscover their consistency - they are hanging in a bit in fourth place in the Premier League, when I think they are better than that.

And if City are going to turn over Manchester United in their FA Cup semi-final, then they need to start playing a little bit better now to build their confidence up for that game."

    All correct imo
