We should only play top flight clubs.

The tradition of playing lower league teams is stupid.

I agree with playing bigger clubs but preferably foreign ones. Ajax, Athletico Madrid, Benfica, Juventus and Hoffenheim etc are better than playing the likes of Derby, Hartlepool and Leicester etc

Tbf, pre-season is more about fitness that owt else.

You don't need the top teams to do that.

Its nothing new, been happening for quite a few years in these foreign tournaments

Then why do you have to play lower league teams to get fit.

Poor preparation year after year

Thing about playing Championship sides is they're genrally ahead fitness wise so it's normally a good test.
