    Default Paulo Da Silva

Too small for a central defender ? Brucesy on Da Silva in todays Northern Echo " He's a very, very good player the only problem De Silva has is coming up against the big strikers.

At the WC there was no real big players and the teams don't play like Wolves and try to bash him up. In Mexico its all tippy-tappy stuff and little players the same as the WC.

Against Spain in the WC he was magnificent but against anyone like Wolves or Blackburn he physically can't deal with that aerial stuff, he struggles"

Well that's nothing new after wathcinh him play. He's good in the air and but he could do with a bit more of height, and also explosiveness.

Have Wolves any giraffes up front? Da Silva seems a likely starter today like.

Well, either he has shrunk since we bought him or someone needs to ask why no one spotted this.

Strange for him to say that but in the crisis we are in, what about as a right back with Ned in the middle ? Downside - he`s not the fastest and will take away from our attacking threat. Upside - he`s a cracking defender

Thought we got him on a free.
He was worth a punt and besides wasnt he someone on roll over ricky's seminar prior to SB's arrival?
A punt has been taken and hasnt come off.
I look at medina, Flo, Laslandes, Nunez, prica, Halford etc etc as far bigger wastes of space and examples of poor judgement
