Last week I was all for using water canon/plastic bullets on these rioters but with time to reflect I am glad we didn't.
Things have settled down and the world was not subjected to tv pictures of water canons and coppers firing into civilians (albeit twats) on British streets.

This just enhances the image around the world that we (the British) are a damn civilised nation.

Me too marra but, IMHO like, there is something positive to be had from the fact that we didn't do what the Turks or French or the Gremans would have done.
