which processor is all round better
Intel Core I5 2500 3.3 Quad Core CPU
or AMD 8 Core FX 3.1Ghz cpu i used to use amd all the time a quite a few years ago but found them unstable where i have been using intel for the last 10 years or so and found them a much more stable processor. can any1 tell me how far the amd chips have come these days. only reason i ask is i can get the amd budle above with 8 gig more ram for nearly the same price as the i5 bundle. i know the i5 id quad core & the amd is 8 just womdering if it's worth taking the risk cheers

The Intel i5.
Is it the k version in the bundle as this version will let you overclock it. 10:26 AM.. |

H61 is what chipset the motherboard runs on, if you arent bothered about overclocking then the regular i5 2500 will be just fine.
