    Default Porridge

Don't think there is much doubt about porridge as a great nutritional breakfast before the gym (or is there?) but I'm getting pretty sick of it now - how do you make/mix yours, any ideas/recipes ?

I use semi-skimmed milk with rolled oats dinged in the microwave for 3mins.

I've found a tablespoonful of peanut butter in before the microwaving works well, or a whack of honey after dinging, even sometimes a glug of golden syrup as a pick me up if I'm feeling tired.

    Any other variations ?

I have it when I carb-backload at the end of the day. I used either skimmed milk or water. Whack some honey in there and some flavoured protein powder. Lovely.

1 scoop of myofusion + 80g of oats, add water and mix together, stick it in the fridge over night, add some Walden Farms 'calorie free' chocolate syrup and some peanut butter.

Have mine with skimmed milk with either blueberries, banana or a spoon of peanut butter.

Tried the nuts/seeds combo and it just didn't feel right, poppy seeds and hazelnuts just turned it to a gritty mess.

I like the added flavoured whey idea but overnight in the fridge I'd need a knife and fork to eat it, it'd be set like concrete
