Not when CS4 has only been out 7 months to my understanding.

Same here but some of the features could have been included in CS4 as they are a bit advanced such as more paint tools etc and must have been worked on for a while.

CS5 will be worth it for this feature alone.

Some of the preview tutorials show some good features but....

Why do you need to fill in the missing pieces on a photograph of the acropolis for example?

And why have they included many features that are a direct copy of a shareware program I have mentioned before called Art Rage which was fully compatable with Photoshop and costs only £30? Art Rage is incidently used in professional environments in conjunction with Photoshop.

Why release CS4 then only 7 months later release CS5 except to screw more money out of people if they are daft enough to throw it at Adobe, a company that sues every fucker it can while quite happily incorporating other companies software functions into their own product.

Some of the features were ok that I've seen but at a price.

If you've ever tried cleaning scanned film image you'll know the potential value of that content aware tool. Or like in that example if you've tried to remove flare

I guess just like HDR it will be misused by users for filling in the Acropolis etc, but that's not the fault of the tool or the coder.

But tell me about Art Rage...is that feature knicked from there?

No, but CS5 has also included some very advanced paint tools that are a direct copy from Art Rage which allows you to paint on levels and then process the file further in Photoshop.

Nickleodeon for example use Art Rage to colour etc and it costs about £30.

Good point and there are some useful tools in CS5 but just don't understand why they released CS4 so recently....
