    Heavily affected by rain, has just started, 5 hours behind schedule, 23 overs per side. The ECB want fucking flogging for playing international cricket this late in the 'summer'.

    On the basis that their economic model is based on playing a set number of games what option do they have? Glad it's on cos there's nowt else to watch.

    To be fair September is usually a better month for cricket than April, and most summer months tbh!

    have you seen the state of our batting lineup its shocking. tbf at least they had the common sense to remove trott from a 23over game

    Because a good one-day player does not mean you're a good test player, as Raina has proven this summer.

    He'll no doubt get his chance when Sachin et al retire though and looks like he could do well, but you can never really tell.
