Yes mate i have the TZ5! Got it 6 months ago after rave reviews in all of the gadget mags. Paid £210 i think, just google best price and you'll find the cheapest site today. I would get a couple of spare batteries, i got mine from http://www.memorybits.co.uk.

Very impressed with camera, absolutely loads of settings if ya into that, or you can shove it auto and click away. The zoom really is amazing mind, and it's a hi def movie camera as well remember!

Oh, you DEFO need a 16GB memory card from the same web site as above (about £35). Hi def movies eat the memory.

I have the Panasonic FZ18 - it has 18x optical zoom and a fantastic Leica lens - with extended optical zoom - it has 28.7x zoom - (a sort of in-build crop) This zoom is much better than the inferior shitty digital zoom.

It is testimony to this superb camera that I have now boxed my Canon DSLR and expensive array of lenses.

Forget the movies on these type of cameras - too much compromise and HDD camcorders are dropping in prices all the time

I have one and the underwater case. Great camera and gives good movie quality even at 20 meters down.

Thats too big for what i'm looking for. Just after a reasonably compact camera with a good lens.

    I have a TZ5.

10x optical zoom, OIS, full intelligent auto.

Best midi-sized camera on the market bar none!
