Default Directions help - pedestrian tunnel.

Does anyone know how long it would take approximately to cycle from Boldon Colliery to Silverlink, via the pedestrian tunnel?

Can you cycle in a pedestrian tunnel? I'm confused.

    I reckon about 30 minutes
45 minutes if you are unfit, overweight and have a shit bike

How long do you reckon it will take you?

Yeah, it's got two separate tunnel; one for walking, the other for cycling.

It's only about six miles away; about half an hour. Wouldn't take more than an hour, even at a leisurely pace.

Where the frig is the pedestrian tunnel again?

All it is is that I'm thinking about cycling to work some days rather than using the car. I work just up from silverlink (cobalt).

Go to the right of the car tunnel, past the Bede centre turn off, past the refinery
Its before you get to the Rohm & Hass site (if R&H is still there)

I think I'll do the trip on Sunday and see how long it takes me.

I'm still none the wiser, I'll just cycle round and find it.
