    Depends on your finances really.
Forget most of Tooty's recommendations as the freeway is a real pain in the arse after work.Rocky's OK and South Coogee (expensive ).I work next door to BAE and live in Thornlie.Look at Canning Vale...both about 3o mins drive.

Marra, tak nee notice of these twats on here man, most of them are from the Northern Burbs and dinnit have a clue! Rockingham........my arse, the place is the pits mate, full of friggin chavs. I should now cos the Navy base is just off the coast of Rocky and there are only a couple of decent pubs and they are miles from each other. Baldivis is a pretty new area and is canny. Anywhere south of Secret Harbour is canny anarl, reet down to Mandurah which is a lovely place and is only about 3/4 hour from Henderson. I would give anywhere around Henderson a miss mate, there are some reet shitholes like Wellard and Kwinana. Before some of you bastards say "if its that good, why did you leave", well cos I much prefer Melbourne. That is my advise mate and I spent 3 years owa there and only moved back here 18 months ago. Good luck. By the way, spent a canny bit of time over at Henderson on the hardstand with Navy ships, there always seems to be stacks of work going on there. Austal are next door and they are always busy as well
