Only about 20 MPs have bothered to turn up. What a set of bastads.

I'm not sure what justice is or should be, but I am sure they'll never get it.

Bloke speaking now says that the released papers will show where the media who said it was the Liverpool fans fault got their info from. Now that could be interesting.

There'll be 20-odd pages of the same rightwing fucknuts or scouse-haters perpetuating the same myths, but it's wonderful to see the Hillsborough Justice Campaign finally getting somewhere. Steve Rotheram's opening speech was heartbreaking mind.

Far from 'moving on', the campaigners should be commended. I'd like to think that if 96 Sunderland fans went to a football match and came out in a body bag, that we'd never stop fighting for justice, especially if those 96 died as a result of police incompetence, and their memory was subsequently deliberately blackened by a collusion of the police, the Conservative party and the conservative press, along with the repuation of those who survived.

Anybody who thinks differently can frankly fuck off.

Justice for the 96: expose the lies before Thatcher dies.

Steve Rotherham's opening speech was incredibly powerful. I'll post a link to it if anybody does want to see it again (or for the first time). I'm not sure what to say about all this - it's the first time it's ever been debated like this in the Commons and it's good to see MPs from all parties getting behind this and laying into that bastard Mackenzie.

I'm not completely sure what will happen when the files are released. If there was anything dodgy going on the evidence could long since have been destroyed. Hopefully there will be something there though. As an example, how many of you knew that things like PC's evidence and notes from the day were edited and ordered to be changed if they were too critical of the way SYP reacted? 'm sensing plengty of momentum with this now - hopefully all the facts will come out and the families can get closure.

As I read in article from one of them today - it's not necessarily even about justice anymore - just accountability.

    Thanks for reading.

It's fairly common knowledge unless you're a Sun-reader or have hated the whole of Merseyside since a slapper from Toxteth gave you the clap and/or nicked your stereo. Or something.

I know that's been in the public domain a long time but it's incredible how many people choose to turn a blind eye. I may be wrong but I'm hoping the debate here, the recent TalkSport programs and other coverage will help to bring the fight to people who previously had ignored it or just been oblivious to it.

As the Notts MP said, it could have been the toss of a coin, it could have been the Forest fans.

Anyway, will leave it there and I don't want to get drawn into any arguments tonight (not from you I hasten to add). Cheers for the support mate.
