PROUD dad Ian Clark has been sent Gaga by his new daughter.
For months Ian, from Blyth, Northumberland, joked with his four-year-old stepdaughter Maddy that he would name her new sister after her favourite pop star – Lady Gaga.

But the dad-of-three went through with it, naming his 13-day-old daughter Meggie Maisie Lady Gaga.

Ian's partner, full-time mum Melanie, 27, said: "I can't believe he went ahead and did it. Ian thought it was a good idea.

"The registrar asked three times if there was anything he wanted to change. I'm in shock."

Ian added: "When I asked what we should call the new baby, Maddy said we should call her Lady Gaga.

"I thought it was a great name, and I'm sure the bairn will find it funny when she's older."

The family have already made plans to change her name through deed poll when she reaches 18.
