    Default Best options for Germany?

Wheres the best place to stop, central to all games then? any of our 'Germany branch' members give assistance here? Or maybe two places over the whole week might be another option? Any help anyone?

We looked into splitting into a couple of locations but decided against it in the end for both cost & convenience so opted for Dusseldorf as that's where we're flying to (& from). Bielefeld is only 36 euro on the train between 4 of us although Hameln a bit trickier & a bit more expensive but do-able by train although we may just hire a car.

There are (hopefully) 8 of us going. We are probably different to you as we are camping (one motorhome and some tents and one (multi-seater) car). We have not decided for certain yet but it looks like we will stop at a campsite on the Rhine just north of Dusseldorf for the duration. The run from the Channel ports to there is not too bad on the saturday. Then we reckon we can drive to the first two games (we can all get in the one car). There seems to be more to do round Dusseldorf and being on the Rhine is nice (you can swim in it!).

The alternative is either a two (or less likely) three stop strategy. More convenient for the games and more variety. But it means a longer run that first saturday and then two extra days of packing up, driving and re-seting up.

Probably the place where the team is staying:

    http://www.klosterpforte.de/uk/infor.../fussball.html

Düsseldorf is the best place to stay in the Borussia MG area, Münster is more central to all games and a nice place. Would be more logical just to follow the team around though.

Like that yes. I'll contact Nick to see if he wants to come along on a coach trip to the Borussia game.
