Default Hypocrites on here, I'm puzzled.

I'm easily confused 'cos there's loads of dead clever lads on here.

What puzzles me is that there's a stock answer whenever anyone criticises the fans of any other club. The tree-huggers always ask if those with a poor opinion of West Ham fans, or whoever, have met EVERY Hammer and how many of them they know.

Strangely they decry this honest opinion, based on personal experience, by saying,
"Well I've met loads of West Ham fans and I don't have a problem with them."

What I don't understand is why they're so sure that their personal experience is somehow superior to anyone else's..........surely you can only ever base your opinion on your own personal experience, so how come the tree-huggers, on here, believe that they're so right?

I'm really interested to know why they believe they're right............right?

You've got me puzzled with the title line.

When I went to school a hypocrite was someone who stated an opinion that was different to their own actions or experiences, not different to someone elses.

Surely you're joking.......I thought the lads on here were dead clever.

The tree-huggers decry other people's opinions because they're only based on their own personal experiences but use the same argument to justify their own opinion.
    Isn't that hypocricy?

See what you mean but would have thought that was being self opinionated.

How do you know that they hug trees?

    Quote:
The PC tree, developed by Wei-Kuan Shih and Wen-Lian Hsu, is a more recent generalization of the PQ tree. Like the PQ tree it represents permutations by reorderings of nodes in a tree, with elements represented at the leaves of the tree. Unlike the PQ tree, the PC tree is unrooted. The nodes adjacent to any non-leaf node labeled P may be reordered arbitrarily as in the PQ tree, while the nodes adjacent to any non-leaf node labeled C have a fixed cyclic order and may only be reordered by reversing this order. Thus, a PC tree can only represent sets of orderings in which any circular permutation or reversal of an ordering in the set is also in the set. However, a PQ tree on n elements may be simulated by a PC tree on n + 1 elements, where the extra element serves to root the PC tree. The data structure operations required to perform a planarity testing algorithm on PC trees are somewhat simpler than the corresponding operations on PQ trees.
    But does it really matter?

It's a message board and you get different opinions.

I know they hug trees because I've met every single one of them, done extensive market research and have sworn statements lodged with my solicitor............no stone has been left unturned, no tree unhugged.

I just don't like hypocrites. You should be able to back up your opinions.
