Anyone else a supply teacher? Are you getting much work at the minute and how many agencies are you with?

I'll bite, I usually just lurk. I ain't in the North East tho - in the Midlands and primary, but a picky fucker since there's no way I'm doing year 6 when they're in evil post-SATs mood.

Getting a couple of days a week, but been in this lark long enough to not expect much the last half-term of the year, so more than I normally expect to get. If I took any old shite they threw my way in terms of bookings I could probably still be getting up to about 4 days a week with my agency, but I've been with them a helluva long time so they know I'm pretty decent and tend to ring me among the first on their books when they call around.

September is a total write off generally, picks up a bit the start of October then everyone gets the lurgy and goes off sick by about the first half-term. Things picking back up seems to be getting later and later every year though - I've been doing this a fair few years now.

Not quite I've got limited work in July and August giving one-to-one tuition. Just one day a week but better than nothing.
