York (again) - Eating out

So I'm sat in the black swan and decided that I really fancy a curry.
Problem is I'm quite fussy about my Indian restaurants.
Can anyone recommend a good one close to the city centre?

Also does anyone know a good place to go for an expensive (celebratory) meal in York?
Looking to take the missus (nope) somewhere nice for her 21st and don't know where to go.
