    Default virgin media broadband problems

got sick of slow sky broadband speeds so opted for virgin.

as me house already had a virgin point when i moved in I opted for self install as it should have just been a case of plugging the cable into the hub.

got me kit today but I have no tick light on the hub and just a flashing light next to the arrows. They cannot activate it because of this and the indian technical support are shite as they cannot understand me when I'm talking to them.

any ideas how i can get this up and running

Phone 150, and go to a department other than the broadband technical, some are english call centres, explain about the communications issues, they will put you through to an english operator.
They've always been spot on with this in the past.

Ive always stuggled to get past the "do you mind if i call you by your 1st name?"

My name is Gareth, they pronounce it Grut. OK Grut, thank you Grut.

    Very odd.
