    Default Craig Gardner

Having a couple of shots isn't enough I'm afraid.

    What does he actually contribute?

He's exactly the same as Darron Gibson (who we originally tried to sign and people didn't want) really.

He has contributed virtually nothing in the games he has played. Hoping its just a quiet start to the season, for our sakes.

He makes me feel like Tommy Miller has never left.

First game I've noticed him do anything. He wasn't great today but he did show a few nice touches. I think it was him who picked out a canny lobbed pass to play Elmo (?) in.

My stream was choppy in the second half so it was hard to see some parts.
In the first half he had a shot and I dont think he had another touch of the ball.
Against Norwich I vaguely remember him having a shot and cant recall him doing anything else in the entire game.

He did make one or two decent passes I think but far too often he either plays it square or backwards and/or just lobs it forward without looking up. His tackling is awful (see the second WBA goal) and I have no idea how he ended up so tired by the end as he rarely leaves the centre circle. He does a lot of shadow chasing I suppose.
