Default Stephane Sessegnon - as a Striker

Ok, so I sent an email to some frenchies at work asking a very simple question. If Asamoah Gyan were to get injured, could Stephane Sessegnon play as a striker?

The answers were not very promising in this respect, however, no prizes for guessing which of the two is a PSG fan!

Well, think he can do it to help, but it’s not his position

Hum, seems I’m entitled to answer this one…

No, he can’t play striker. Well he never did for us.

Knowing him, I would say Sessegnon will probably play well 3-4 games and then ask for a raise! And if he sucks and is put on the bench, he’d rather leave than fight for a spot on the pitch…
Frenchman 3 has yet to respond.

Think he's more likely to play as a deep lying forward, rather than a traditional 'striker'.

He's not going to lead the line, as Gyan did last week.

He'll presumably be arranging a transfer for Darren Bent behind Houlliers back
