I saw a pisstake in G2 last week and assumed it was just that, a pisstake.

I'm not Only Fools' biggest fan (terminally tainted by endless repeats, endless tedious bastards quoting it, and the cash cow 'final, final' three episodes), but it's a cert that this will be awful. Especially in the hands of the Scrubs writers, who will take the heart of gold the original had and make it into maudlin MOR toss.

To be fair when it comes to the best tv of all time the americans make 90% of it. But I cant see this only fools and horses working unless its very very loosely based.

We only see the cream of it, a lot of Americans probably think we make some of the best television in the world.

One thing they certainly don't do better than us is comedy. And this is being made by ABC; the best American television of the last 15 years has without doubt came from cable.
