Has it finished yet? Was it any good? I watched the first couple of episodes and got sick, just wondered if it's worth a download or not?

Got 3 episodes left to watch I think. Not sure if I'll bother, it's not great.

The 2 main characters, Leckie and Basilone, are just irritating.

I've watched the first five and the only thing I can remember is some fit Greek lass getting her tits out.

Twas a little disjointed for me but still a cracking piece of cinematography. I thought they could have concentrated on the characters a little more rather than jumping from island to island to fit in all the battle scenes. Like for example when Bob Leckie went off to hospital we never saw him again till the last episode and John Basilone disappeared in episode 2 then return in 6 or 7. A great ending non the less. My personal favourite was SNAFU he was class and the actor played a crackin part.

Seemed more like a series of vaguely associated drama documentaries than a fully engaging drama series.

It took me until episode 7 to 'get' the character connections.

    Visually excellent.
