    Default Worth going out?

Was toying with the idea of trying night shots tonight but I have not got my remote with me for bulb exposures.
Will I be wasting my time with anything else ?

Possibly, but why not try it and see what happens? Thats the beauty of digital, its not like you will be wasting money on film or anything.

No, you can get some decent shots with long exposures as long as you have a tripod. Set the camera to fire after 10 seconds so you don't get any movement from pressing the shutter.

Or maybe have a mess around with rear curtain flash.

get yaself out man, even if you dont have a tripod you could always balance the camera on a wall or bench or something, even with a 30 second exposure you can still get some ok shots...just have a play about with different appertures and exposure lengths, if anything it'll give you a bit experience.

Right I am off out then to have a mess about.

Well I just got back from my first night outing and must say I quite enjoyed it.
Managed to capture this as well as a few others.
