    Default Emergency Tax

Got my payslip from my new employer and i'm on emergency tax. Can't understand why because i've not had a break in employment.

How do i go about getting it sorted? Any ideas?

Give them your p45 and tell them to get it sorted. if you are on similar money, it won't makea huge difference

Do you mean 747L month 1 basis, or do you mean basic rate?

I'm on a lot more in my new role. The tax they have taken equates to two weeks pay in my old roll
