    Default PS3 out of range..

driving me insane. shifted the PS3 from downstairs up into me room and it's now claiming it's "out of range". A quick google search says hold the power button for 2 beeps and it'll reset video settings. This doesn't work. It beeps twice, nowt happens then out of range appears top left of the screen again.

    Any (sensible) ideas please?

You mean on the screen? I had this.

Plug it back into the old tele, and set it to the lowest video settings (576p) etc.
Then take it back upstairs and you can configure it to that tele.

    :)

that's a hassle I can't be arsed with. I'm only using it tonight as my brother's out on the lash tonight and is stopping at a mates house. Thought I'd shift it into my room for the night. Can't be arsed unplugging it all to switch the settings to shift it back for an hour's use.
