    Default Mensah madness

Bruce has to be stone mad to chase Mensah. He is crocked. The money spent on a transfer / wages is better off ploughed into another centre half who does not disapear down the tunnel during the game. Getting beat by the likes of Wolves and the fact that we are a soft touch away from home suggests that we need to stiffen up the defence.

He aint the answer cos he's goosed. Sack him off now.

Hes well worth another loan deal imho, if he can get half a season under his belt he could save us a canny few points.

Crocked or not he's still better than cloggers like Turner and Cattermole who are fucking liabilities.

Surely his injury record will be taken into account when agreeing a transfer fee?

He's a waste of space to be fair. Unable to even manage haf the games a season and then the games he does start more than half of them see him substituted before the end because he can't last. His injury record is worse than Tainio's, we managed to replace him so there is is no reason why we couldn't replace Mensah with someone else

His injury record should mean we stay well clear of him

Even if we get him on loan again we will still need to get another cb in so is it worth it?

The only world class defender we have at the club, Turner is suspended for first couple of games next season so we need Mensah for at least a month more

Paul McGrath was considered a crock and finished but he was always on the pitch for Villa.

Mensah has looked pacey , confident on the ball and a good reader of the game in patches. But he isn't Bobby Moore.

When he went off after 14 mins against Man Utd that said it all. I would rather we had another honest solid pro at centre half. That would save us more points than an unsettled defence always thinking that the special case will come back and save the day.

    Bin him.

Quality player but we can't afford to be using a sub halfway through the first half in games. No way I'd take him personally.
