Chelsea are a fantastuc team to watch when they attack

Leaving aside Terry influencing the referee and the other negatives from last night.

Chelsea were great to watch as an attacking unit.

Everyone, including the defence have a license to get forward and support attacks. How many times did their fullbacks and even John Terry bring the ball forward deep into our half.

Players were busting a gut to get ahead of the player with the ball. When a player had the ball they had 2 or 3 options as to who to pass too. Annelka playing deep was superb.

Really entertaining to see.

Shame about the result, but boy are they a good team.

They are, but had catts and muntari played i think chelsea wouldn't have found so much space.

they were quality which makes it all the more infuriating when they cheat and john terry thinks he can referee the game. sour taste. wouldnt have minded being beaten fair and square which they were more than capable of

Totally agree... I thought Anelka displayed a master class scenario of playing deep behind his full backs and spraying the ball around...it annoyed me at the time!! as did the refereeing decisions (or non-decisions), but take a bow laddie!!

About 15 minutes into the game I turned and said to my dad: "Chelsea aren't as good as they used to be are they?"

The bastards made me look a fool, didn't they?

I've never seen Anelka play that role before, he was very good. It may be simpler than first thought to fit him, Torres, Drogba and Malouda in the same side.

Fantastic footballers, but they also grafted like feck.

Even in stoppage time each one of them was busting a gut.

Very very impressive. Best team in the league by a mile when they are all up for it.

I was amazed at the outright speed of many of them.

Good to see that you appreciated what our lads put into it last night. When they are up for it, and you let them play, they can and often do tear teams to bits

What surprised me was your team allowed them to play, to have the space....something that just did not happen at our place. Where you harried the midfield off the ball and forced errors. Really expected much of the same last night.

Anelka was different class last night and that could well be his new position.
