Just a thought. A couple of years ago he was linked with every PL job under the sun. Still Croatia national team manager, who are 2nd in their qualification group but still well placed to qualify.

Would be a decent choice, seems the sort of guy who can organise and motivate a limited squad.

Just thinking back to when we appointed Bruce. Alot of people wanted this guy instead. Has his (or our) stock fallen so much since then.

Also, in terms of an international squad (not just their best 4/5 players), it is comparatively limited for a team as high in the rankings as they are (10th)

Not if most people on here had their way. I'd support Bruce unless we can appoint someone who would be a significant improvement. I just was interested as to whether people on here would consider Bilic as a viable/preferable option.

Most people on here don't represent the majority of Sunderland supporters, just a few keyboard warriors who hide behind screens and spout stuff they never would down the pub to a live audiance.
