    Default Yesterday's friendly

    Was it really neccessary?

Can't see the point in flying over there for a hastily arranged friendly when there are more pressing matters to be concerning ourselves with on these shores.

Why not just play a team in Britain? This would have allowed the lads with visa problems the opportunity to get a much needed 90mins of football under their belts.

I agree. Just seems daft unless we made a deal with a Swedish sponsor to play over there or we are trying to sign one of their players.

Same could be said about the Korea tour. It seemed pointless as we were missing Sessegnon, McClean, Larrsson and most importantly...Ji!

Was strange. They were in mid season. We only arrived a few hours before kick off. Poor preparation. Must have been sponsor related.

This has got to be the worst pre sesaon ever in terms of organisation. The standard of opposition, even though 2 of them have beaten us.

The trips to holland & germany will long live in the memory this pre sesaon ceartinley won't

There was a big youth cup going on at the weekend with over 10 000 players from many different countries in Helsingborg and they wanted to get a big international club over for it

Helsingborg said they wanted to keep the flow up between their Champions Leauge games but mostly it was due to this youth cup. I mean we were basically playing their reserves.

To clarify it was Helsingborg with Schwarz that wanted us over here just for the game

Very charitable of us to oblige and to lose the game in such a tepid fashion.

Were they really their reserves? I'm surprised a team like that could field 11 reserve players and put in a performance like that.
