Default Every little helps...just so long as you don't write the prices down.

South Park said it first (as usual) with Something Wallmart This Way Comes but this is the real face of our supermarket giants...get in theirs and be prepared to face the consequences.

It's illegal to write down prices in Tesco apparently.

Keeping this in mind just imagine the strongarm tactics these companies will employ to drive down cost prices to small producers.

I often have a shopping list with me at Tesco, or whichever other supermarket I happen to be using. With that list I have a pen and I'll scribble prices down to compare to other places. Never been accosted or thrown out.

How do asda do their price check thing where if you type in your receipt online it checks the price against the other supermarkets and if they're not cheaper they give you a voucher worth 10% the price of your shop then?
I find that story a bit hard to believe to be honest, their prices arent a secret.

Try it out I suppose. Don't grab a trolley or basket and instead go round with a paper and pen. See what happens.

isn't always down to how you react to being questioned though? I dare bet the author of the article acted like a complete nob when he was questioned, and talked himself into nearly getting arrested.

Was on the train once to Boro, and saw this sackless old harridan talk herself into getting arrested and chucked into a police wagon at Thornaby. She didnt have the means to pay for her ticket (debit card wasnt working), and got on at Hartlepool - where she was supposed to get a ticket before boarding, as it's got a ticket office.

Long story short, she wouldn't accept that she should have got a ticket before getting on - and the conductor kept trying to take her details, but the silly cow went on and on. In the end he rang through to have the polis pick her up at Thornanby.

Funny as fuck though, she was fucking livid when the train pulled into Thornaby.
