    Default Derby virgin

this is my first away derby match tomorrow and i just want to know whats goin on transport wise, i am from south but mam lives up here so have only started properly followin the team now with away games.
With tomorrow, gonna get the train down in the afternnon, probs 5.15/50 depends how i'm going. but what happens after the match?? do we get train back? are we escorted to bus? where does bus take us? etc... i am feeling very naive and confused as to what is happening.
If anyone can give me something would be greatly appreciated!!!

your likely bet is the 5:15pm from Sunderlad - will be less packed, and more chance of a pub once you get down there

No trains coming back unless you wanna spend 6 hours at Darlo.

You're better off jumping on the free coaches that will be waiting, and getting off at the SoL

    No it isn't.

The media want to class this as a derby game as do Boro fans. IMO the majority of SAFC fans don't regard it as a derby - more a match against a small club in Cleveland

This. When I saw this thread title I honestly just assumed the lad would be asking about the mags away match, when I read "tomorrow" I thought he'd gone mental until I thought "ah, he means Boro"

This is more like a fumble in the back row of the pictures than losing virginity.

Enjoyable, but not the real deal.

Son, this is worse for travelling supporters than the mag derby even if we don't regard it as a derby. If you want to get the train then you should be fine but go straight to the ground. Plenty of us will be drinking in Boro - but if you don't know your way round this is not a good time to find out. As stated afterwards just get on the free buses and get off at the SoL. They will be parked close to the away end (down and slightly to the left).
